劇情簡介:

這四位女孩卡門、蓮娜、布莉姬、堤比在
購物時找到一條四個人都穿得下的二手牛仔褲
於是決定透過這條魔法褲,在各奔東西的那個暑假彼此聯絡。
每個人輪流穿這條牛仔褲一個星期
之後再寄給下一個人, 僅管相隔千萬里
這四個好朋友仍然在這個難忘的夏天裡共享生命、愛情和失落。


她們的母親在四人還沒出生時就認識了
因此她們的出生後感情就很好

在16歲的夏天
她們有各自的路要走

布莉姬
四人當中最開朗活潑成熟
母親在他快16幾歲時就走了
她的心中很痛但他沒告訴另3人

16歲的夏天 她參加了足球受訓
遇見一名男子
因為他們年齡的差距
男子隱忍對她的愛戀
她向男子傾訴他的喪母之痛

後來回家時
布莉姬的小狗咬她的魔法褲帶她再次遇見那男子
男子對她說你願意等我嗎

16歲的夏天 他前往父親的家
卻發現她父親要再娶
因此 她認為牛仔褲沒帶給她好運
隨著她對父親的從小離去的怨恨
加上要接受另一個家庭的痛苦
她逃回去了
卻在爸爸的婚禮上
重新找回父愛

四人當中最有個性的人
從小就想當導演
16歲的夏天 她待在家裡邊打工邊拍一些小人物

後來她遇見一個12歲的女孩
她認為牛仔褲帶給她一個小麻煩
隨著她們的相處
直到發現小女孩得到不治之症

最後記錄片就是用小女孩名字
"貝莉"命名


蓮娜
四人當中最害羞的
16歲的夏天 她前往希臘的爺爺家
再一次 她穿牛仔褲去海邊畫畫
卻被一名男子吸引住
不小心掉近海裡

她也開始認為牛仔褲帶給她惡耗
後來愛上那名男子
卻發現他和她
因為彼此的爺爺不能在一起

最後她鼓起勇氣向爺爺說出想和那名男子在一起
因為就好像是命中註定的另一半
就像爺爺遇見了奶奶一般


隨著一開始
她們認為牛仔褲帶給她們惡運
到後來牛仔褲施閃一連串的奇蹟

Maybe the truth is there's a little bit of loser in all of us you know, being happy isn't having everything in your life being perfect. Maybe it's about stringing together all the little things like wearing these pants, or getting to a new level of Dragon's Lair. Making those count more than the bad stuff. Maybe we just get through it. And that's all we can ask for.

It would be easy to say that the pants changed everything that summer.

可以說這條褲牛仔褲改變了那個夏天的一切

But looking back now, I feel like our lives changed because they had to,

但現在回頭看看 我們的人生其實是因為必須改變而改變

and that the real magic of the pants

而這條牛仔褲的真正魔力

was in bearing witness to all of this

是在於作為這一切的見證

and in somehow holding us together

且用某種方式將我們牽引在一起

when it felt like nothing would ever be the same again.

當感覺所有的事情都將不再相同的時候



Some things never would be
