莎拉麥克勞蘭，一位來自加拿大溫哥華的女歌手。一九八八年發表首張專輯
"Touch"，即令人訝異其細緻的音樂質感。她真正獲得國際性的成功，是在
九八年的第四張專輯"Surfacing"（透明）發行之後，除了專輯銷售很快進
入美國前十名，電影"X情人"從這張專輯選出"Angel"做為插曲，更具有推
波助瀾之效，使更多人認識了這位優秀的創作型女歌手。
